Return & Exchange

Modest House dos not offer returns or exchange unless in the event of a genuine manufacturing fault.  We ask that you ensure your measurements are correct and right fit for your body prior to your purchase. We do not take responsibility nor do we provide  any adjustments or alterations needed to be made on your gown (unless it is a genuine manufacturing fault).  Prior to giving you the item or having it shipped to you, all items undergo high-grade professional quality control to ensure fabrics and manufacturing are of the highest standard, all gowns in mint new condition.   We highly recommend you to attend our viewing room and try your gown prior to purchase. This will ensure correct fit of the gown. If for any reason a change of mind occurs after the purchase of the gown we do not refund and we do not exchange unless purchase and change of mind has occurred while you are in our viewing room and while the gown has not been removed from the premises, in this case we only provide exchange of the gown and never a refund.

All gowns are thoroughly recorded and photographed prior to shipping . Modest House is not and will not be liable for  any damage to the goods, which occur during the transit period when they are in the possession of a shipping company.  Any claims made for damage will need to be made through the shipping company. We will assist you in these claims by providing you with the photographs of the goods taken prior to postage.

Made to order gowns

The standard timeframe it takes to produce a Made-to-Order gown, we are unable to offer returns or exchanges on  Made-to-Order bridal items. We ask that you ensure complete and accurate measurements and design are submitted at the time of placing the order as these measurements and the design request are final, and do not take responsibility for any adjustments or alterations needed to be made on your gown (unless it is a genuine manufacturing fault). Once your design and measurements are locked-in, you will be unable to cancel you order as the gown will have gone immediately into production. You will not be subject to any refund.
