Fabrics
At Modest House we understand that some fabrics are better suited for structured designs, others are great for flowing, light looks, and others for larger-than-life ballgowns. We only use the most beautiful and high quality fabrics, handpicked by us and our team of seamstresses, including beads, tulle, satin, lace, hand-made lace and satin-organza. All our bridal collections are available in white and ivory, with some designs having bone, nude and tan options.
Designs
Each one of our designs is hand picked, selected and carefully designed to meet the standard of modest dress.
Each gown has a high neck line, long sleeves, appropriate cut length with adequate underlining and either buttoned or zipped closed back. Gowns are designed with the aim to conceal the skin in a way that satisfies spiritual and stylistic requirements for reasons of faith, religion or personal preference.

Appointments
Our showroom is based in Sydney, Australia. We have a spacious private room in a relaxed environment where the bride-to-be and her party can enjoy an intimate fitting experience. We offer complementary 1-on-1 consultations of 45 minutes to all our clients who are able to come in to our showroom and can accommodate up to 5 people (Bride + 4 guests) per session.
Our sample wedding dresses give our customers an idea of silhouette, colour, fabrics and of course the workmanship of our dresses.
Our online store enables for an online ordering system for those who are unable to come in to our showroom. Modest House delivers free of charge anywhere in Australia.
